Russian Man Found Dead In Phuket Condominium Room
PHUKET, Thailand – A 43-year-old Russian man has been found dead inside a condominium room in Phuket’s Kathu district, with authorities estimating that the man had been dead for approximately three days before his body was discovered on August 30. Police were alerted at about 9 p.m. to a death in room 24/89 at The Scene condominium in Kathu subdistrict, prompting investigators, an on-duty police team, a district officer, and a forensic doctor from Vachira Phuket Hospital to inspect the property.

The man’s body was found face down beside the bed in the bedroom, and an initial examination found no evidence of a struggle or anything considered suspicious in the room, while his belongings and valuables appeared to be intact. A forensic doctor estimated that the Russian national had died approximately three days before he was found, though the cause of death has not yet been established.
Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation rescuers took the body to Vachira Phuket Hospital for a detailed autopsy, and police said they will coordinate with the Russian Embassy for the man’s relatives to make arrangements concerning his body. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities await autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death. No further details have been released regarding the circumstances leading up to the man’s death.
